The Upsides' self-titled debut album, originally released in 2024, arrives on vinyl for the very first time, courtesy of Dream Wolf Records.
The record that introduced the New York band captures the unmistakable energy of their early sound. Built around jangling guitars, infectious melodies and sharp, honest songwriting, The Upsides draws on the spirit of 90s alternative rock, garage rock and guitar-driven indie, while establishing a sound entirely their own.
Across ten tracks, the album moves from the immediate energy of “Jump In” and “We Need More Data” to the reflective, melodic songwriting of “Better Over There” and 1 million+ streamed “No Particular Hours.” It's a record full of bright guitar hooks, restless optimism and moments of introspection, capturing a band finding its identity together.
Two years on, as The Upsides enter a new chapter with their second album, In the Maze, their debut gets its first physical release. A chance to revisit where it all began, and to hear the record as it was meant to be heard, on vinyl.
